Mark Weiss has been a New York based freelance advertising product photographer for over thirty years. In that time he has owned and operated large studios, hired and worked with numerous freelancer talent, and dealt with both the creative and business sides of many large advertising agencies, corporations and publishers.

This experience prepared him perfectly for the moment when one of his in-house clients switched their invoicing policy to requiring that the independent contractors invoice through and agent or third party. Mark quickly realized that not all independent contractors (IC’s) have or even want an expensive full service agent to invoice for them for every client. He organized 15 freelancer photographers, stylists and assistants in that studio and in 2012 created Isaac Artist Group (IAG) to fulfill their invoicing needs. IAG charges a very low rate because its service is limited to procuring PO’s, invoicing, issuing tax 1099’s, and tracking payments from companies that require third party billing. And most importantly, getting you paid as quickly as possible.

Since then, IAG has worked hard to provide reputable, trustworthy, experienced service to over 100 freelancers and their clients. Many company’s producers trust IAG as a go-to source and partner when recommending freelancers that they want to work with. They also use us a referral source for new talent.
